Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season

A year in review

Welcome to our website! If you’re new here - we are so happy to have you and keep you updated on life in a fun way! If you’re returning, welcome back after a little hiatus.

For a quick ‘25 recap: Kasey hosted friends in Vail and attended influencer events in the city. Wes spent extra time with his brother and sister-in-law (who are expecting!!!). We locked in on Sport Mode and cheered on the Chicago Fire and Blackhawks, and indulged in some of the city’s finest Chai lattes. Plenty of pierogi was consumed (and Kasey was too nervous to practice the Polish she’s learned on Duolingo) and many chess games were played (where Walker always won, of course). We worked hard and relaxed hard, especially in front of the TV watching some great Baseball and Football comeback performances. We spent time touring more neighborhoods in Chicago and traveled to new hiking trails, and enjoyed every second of the year we could.

Life Updates

2025 has been quite the year! Kasey turned 30 and was promoted to Director at her agency overseeing the Nestle USA Commerce business. Wes turned 29 and is in the final stretch of his Data Science and Business Analytics masters program at Georgia Tech. In April, we moved to a beautiful River North condo that has a private terrace. Kasey completed a Half Marathon in May (walked, but still!). Most importantly, we continued to learn more about each other and worked to support each other during highs and lows of life.

Tate

As most of you know, we received very sad news about Tate in July. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and has been in treatment ever since. We are working with amazing medical staff across Chicago and are hoping for the best, but all prayers are accepted.

Over the last 6+ years, he’s brought our families so much joy, energy, and opportunities to become better people. From November 4th, 2019 to today, Tate (a.k.a. Taters, Tatey Boy, Tunkers, Punkers, Sir Pups Alot, and the Most Handsome Man) has loved long car rides across the country, playing at the beach, making friends at the dog park, and snuggling everyone on the closest couch he can find. We’ve been enjoying the last few weeks/months on our terrace laying in the snow and sunshine and fighting cancer like hell.

Remembering Kerry

In late 2023, we had to say a very unexpected goodbye to the best dad this world has ever seen. We miss him every day, and the Raley/French crews have the grooviest guardian angel. We are so thankful for the time we had with him and for our friends and family who help keep his memory alive every day. The Thanksgiving/Christmas season was his absolute favorite, and we are lucky to feel his spirit extra close this time of year.
